Mayor's Office, Free training for manufacturing jobs offered in West Louisville

Applicants must pre-register; courses at Nia Center begin March 16

Individuals wanting to launch a new career in manufacturing or certify their skills to get a better manufacturing job should attend an orientation session at the Nia Center in the next two weeks. The Kentucky Manufacturing Career Center is enrolling students now for its next Certified Production Technician training course that begins March 16 at the Nia Center, 2900 W. Broadway.

“This is a great opportunity for people to get a solid start in manufacturing, a field that has strong growth and career potential and is a huge part of our local and regional economy,” Mayor Greg Fischer said.
