Business First, Fischer challenges business community to hire 2,500 youths this summer

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer is challenging businesses and organizations to support his SummerWorks program by hiring 2,500 youths for summer jobs.

"Successful businesspeople often want to give back to their community in ways that are meaningful and lasting," Fischer said in a news release. "While there are many opportunities to contribute, there are few as impactful and far reaching as giving a young person a positive start in the work force."
