Business First, Goodwill saw 14 percent increase in job placement this year

Goodwill Industries of Kentucky Inc. helped place 2,881 Kentuckians into jobs outside of Goodwill in various industries for fiscal 2014, which ended Sept. 30. That's an increase of 14 percent from 2013, according to a news release from the nonprofit organization.

Within the organization, Goodwill has more than 1,200 employees, said Heather Hise, communications and public relations specialist for Goodwill.
