This morning, Mayor Greg Fischer will announce two initiatives to place youth in summer jobs this year.

Last year, the Mayor's SummerWorks Program placed 1,500 youth, ages 16-21, in jobs. This year's goal is 2,000.

The Mayor's Youth Opportunity Showcase will be held Feb. 15 at the Kentucky International Convention Center.
