Business First, New report shows improvement in area's education attainment

The Louisville-Southern Indiana metro area is making progress on its level of education attainment, according to new data fromKentuckianaWorks.
More than a quarter of Louisville-area adults have a bachelor’s degree, up from 21.2 percent in 2000. With the improvement, Louisville no longer is at the bottom of a group of 16 peer metro areas in bachelor’s degree attainment, having surpassed Memphis and Dayton to move into 14th place.
