KentuckianaWorks, Mayor's Youth Opportunity Showcase brings together young adults and employers with jobs

Local employers have more than 1,300 jobs for young adults

Nearly 2,000 young adults from the Louisville area attended today’s Mayor’s Youth Opportunity Showcase to meet employers who are hiring for summer jobs. In addition to applying for the nearly 1,200 jobs that were available, the young people had opportunities to talk with representatives of education, training and volunteer organizations in Greater Louisville.

The showcase was held on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Kentucky International Convention Center, 221 Fourth St., in Exhibit Hall 1 A/B from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
