The Courier-Journal, Mayor Fischer seeks to expand youth summer employment

Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer has announced a goal to double the number of local jobs available to young adults this summer and to raise at least $2 million to put about 800 young people to work.

At a news conference Wednesday, Fischer challenged business and community leaders to provide as many jobs as possible for summer employment programs.
