WDRB41-TV, Mayor asks local businesses to step up and hire teens this summer

Teen unemployment is usually very high -- between 20 and 25 percent. The city's SummerWorks program has a new element this year, an entrepreneurship training program.

A number of Louisville businesses, including General Electric, Thorntons and Republic Bank, have agreed to hire young people between the ages of 16 and 21 for summer jobs this year. But the mayor would likeothers to step up.
