The 400 young adults to be hired for summer jobs through the Kentuckiana Works: SummerWorks2012 program will participate in the Ice House Enterpreneurship Program, Louisville Metro Mayor Greg Fischer announced today.
“I am very excited that Louisville is the first city in the nation to offer the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program at this level,” Fischer said in a news release. “As an entrepreneur, I can see the value of giving youth the opportunity to further expand their workplace knowledge and skills, to begin understanding the business model and finding their niche in the workplace of the future.”
