WHAS11-TV, Educational program in KY receives $1.57 million grant

Program will help increase graduation rates in five high schools.

The KentuckianaWorks Educational Talent Search Program received a $1.57 million grant Thursday at Fairdale High School. It is one of five high schools in Jefferson County that will benefit.

The program provides counseling, academic support, helps with testing and gives college campus tours to 750 students at those schools.
