The latest annual "Competitive City Report 2011" from the Greater Lousiville Project finds rapid growth of vacant properties and room for more manufacturing in the community.
Mayor Greg Fischer and local officials weigh in on how to remedy the increase in abandoned homes in certain areas of Metro Louisville and how to increase job opportunities for residents. KentuckianaWorks Executive Director Michael Gritton says Louisville should bid for the jobs that are ancillary to manufacturing.
