Business First, KentuckianaWorks loses funding, closing centers

Four KentuckianaWorks One-Stop Career Centers in Jefferson and Shelby counties will close Friday, June 24, as a result of federal funding cuts.

The KentuckianaWorks board of directors, which oversees the programs and services for KentuckianaWorks, will close centers located in Jeffersontown, in the Riverport Industrial Park, at the Jewish Family & Career Services and on the Shelby County campus of Jefferson Community and Technical College.
