WFPL Radio, Jobless rate in Louisville area drops in March

Unemployment in March in Louisville and the surrounding area dropped to slightly more than 10 percent, down from 11 percent in February. That represents roughly 4,500 people in the area finding jobs.

KentuckianaWorks Executive Director Michael Gritton says a larger drop will likely depend on improvements in the housing market and serveral other factors.
