Thousands of young Kentuckians have an opportunity for summer jobs thanks to your tax dollars. "WorkNow Kentucky" is expected to provide jobs for 10,000 disadvantaged youth and adults, ages 16 to 24, throughout the state. The program is funded with nearly $46 million in federal stimulus money and some state-matching funds. Nearly $6 million will come to Louisville to fund the summer program.
