The Courier-Journal, Engage Louisville speaker encourages youths

High school freshman Tre Coffe grinned as he listened to anti-violence advocate Aubrey Williams recount the mistakes he made as a teen.
“It got to me,” Coffe said. “The stuff he was talking about, I used to do too.”
Coffe was one of at least 70 local youth who convened at the Kentucky Youth Career Center on Tuesday afternoon to participate in Engage Louisville -- a youth empowerment event that featured Williams, poetry readings and a jobs fair.
