Business First, KentuckianaWorks opens health care career center

Louisville needs nurses and other skilled health and aging care workers — about 3,700 of them, according to a third-quarter 2015 report from KentuckianaWorks, the city’s work force development board.

But the new Kentucky Health Career Center, which opened today at 746 S. Fifth St., could help. The center exists to connect employers and job candidates, offering career counseling and training for job seekers and talent search assistance and screening for local health care providers.
