Five local nonprofit organizations have received Mayor’s Healthy Hometown mini grants totaling nearly $30,000.

The grants, among other efforts, will help these organizations provide health therapies to low-income residents; empower youth and adults to develop life skills; and help incarcerated women to gain the skills and resources to retain custody of their children.
