Business First, 55,000 Degrees effort is falling far short

A new report shows educational attainment is slowing in Louisville, and the city is behind schedule on having half of working-age adults with postsecondary degrees by 2020.

According to the report titled "Fast Forward," the city will need to record a 1.4 percent increase in new degrees every year through 2020 to meet the 50 percent goal.
