Louisville's push to increase its college-educated workforce is "stagnating," according to a report released Friday by the city's 55,000 Degrees initiative and KentuckianaWorks.

Amid rising tuition costs, declining enrollment in postsecondary institutions and a continuing struggle for some students to complete their degrees, the Derby City is still significantly behind its goal to have half of its working-age adults hold associate's or bachelor's degrees by 2020.
