WHAS11-TV, Residents can receive free training for GE jobs

Mayor Greg Fischer welcomes today’s news that as part of its previously announced $250 million investment in Louisville, GE is returning its Zoneline heating and air conditioning line to Appliance Park.

The new line will require 100 operators, including 75 new hires. The best candidates for these jobs, which start at $15.51 per hour, are individuals with Certified Production Technician training, or previous manufacturing experience.
