Louisville area manufacturing companies are recruiting qualified job seekers for manufacturing jobs that range in pay from $12 - $20 an hour. Manufacturing company recruiters are selecting individuals that have completed a free manufacturing training course offered by the state.

The next free manufacturing training course that is being offered by the state starts Aug. 31 and ends Sept. 25. In order to qualify to enrolling in the manufacturing training course, interested candidates should attend 1 of 2 orientation sessions that will help the candidate chart a manufacturing career path. The first orientation session will be held on Aug. 18 and the second orientation session will be held on Aug. 25. The orientation session will be held at the Kentucky Manufacturing Career Center, located at 160 Rochester Dr. in south Louisville.
