Business First, West Kentucky Workforce Investment Board gets labor grant

The West Kentucky Workforce Investment Board has received a $250,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to create an economic strategy for a 12-county region that encompasses Western Kentucky, northwestern Tennessee and southern Illinois.
The counties involved in the project are Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Marshall and McCracken in Kentucky; Henry, Obion and Weakley in Tennessee and Massac in Illinois.
